Our client creates comprehensive software for insurers and MGAs to rid the insurance industry of inefficient systems and wasteful processes. On their behalf we are looking for a responsible, self-driven and motivated professional to join their team as a Quality Assurance Team Leader. The role will lead a team of QA analysts and collaborate with business analysis, development and delivery team.
Lead the QA team
Establish, analyze and improve processes and best practices in QA
Plan, coordinate and ensure effective and appropriate implementation of test strategies
Collaborate with department managers and teams in implementing QA processes
Work to move towards goal of continuous testing/continuous integration using automated tests
Schedule, plan and coordinate the execution of QA activities and monitor progress
Supervise performance of team members
Consult and mentor the team members and help them through their career paths
2+ years of experience as QA Lead/ Manager
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
Team player skills and attitude
Excellent communication & collaboration skills, and the ability to speak knowledgeably with members of both the business and technology teams
Problem solving, decision making and analytical thinking
