Junior Java Developer for Financial Domain

Proxiad SEE is an IT Consulting and Software Development company, part of Proxiad Group France, with headquarters in Paris, over 25 years of industry experience, and 1300 + specialists. The Southeast Europe (SEE) branch employs 250+ professionals, operates in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and has provided services in various sectors (Healthcare, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, E-commerce and Retail, Procurement, etc.) for over 20 years.

In 2022 we stepped above and introduced two innovative software products: Desk Buddy and GROW.

Now we are looking for a Junior Java Developer for a large-scale project with more than 5 million customers. Our client is a leading online bank based in France with an increasing presence in the finance market and a growing list of IT projects to achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, readable and understandable code using Java 11+, Spring Boot 2.5+, and React 16+
• Test your code using JUnit/Mockito
• Develop new features and make changes to existing code
• Perform technical analysis and suggest improvements
• Share knowledge with your colleagues

The skillset we are looking for:

• Relevant university degree in IT
• 1+ year of professional Java experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA/Hibernate
• Professional experience with REST web services and SQL
• Very good command of the English language
• Desire to learn and to self-improve

Nice to have:

• Professional experience with ReactJS (experience with Angular or Vue.js will also be considered relevant)
