We are looking for a Fluent German Speaking Technical Project Manager , who will lead our team and be our representative for our partner. Our partner is a Leader company in the German direct banking market providing online securities business for modern investors, a complete range of services for private customers, brokerage, banking and advice. More than 3 million customers use its products and services in the B2C and B2B business line.

This role is responsible for the customer communication as well as analyzing new opportunities inside the customer organization. Further responsibilities are the smooth operation of the team processes and activities, based on Scrum and Kanban.

Essential Functions:

• Act as a representative of the team towards the different roles of the customer (Head Of Development, Head of Group, Developer, etc.)
• Coach the scrum team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices, disciplines, and values to be consistent, effective, and productive
• Lead development teams to practice agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
• Organize and facilitate project planning through capacity anticipation and planning support of the Product Owners, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint, and release planning
• Facilitate backlog grooming with Product Owners, Architects, BAs and development teams to ensure the priorities, understanding, and dependencies are understood prior to sprint planning
• Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practice through facilitating retrospectives and owning action plans
• Drive sprint planning to ensure Agile/Scrum teams are set for success in their commitments
• Create dashboards and reports that provide consistency and productivity metrics and can provide teams and the organization with relevant product delivery status. Helps identify and provide useful KPIs
• Alert managers in case of issues encountered during sprints or about team health.
• Be an issue solver by increasing collaboration within the teams and within the company departments (workshop proposal, support the teams, etc)

Essential Skills:

• Technical background is a must. Be able to discuss concepts and day-to-day topics with technical counterparts
• Experience in customer-facing roles (also for technical counterparts) for German clients
• Create technical concepts for different projects
• 5+ years of Agile, Scrum, project management or related experience with a software development team that applied Scrum principles and practices
• Requires deep understanding of patterns and techniques in managing Sprint ceremonies
• Excellent understanding of Agile, Scrum methods
• Excellent working knowledge of Agile tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Excellent understanding of SDLC
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• C1/C2 level in English and German

Nice to have:

• Certified Scrum master and other Agile Certification
• Understanding of the finance/banking domain
