Currently we are looking for a Database and Application Administration Team Lead

Key duties:

• Providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure team members are performing to the highest standards.
• Oversee the maintenance, tuning, and optimization of the Bank’s database systems, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
• Drive initiatives for the modernization and digital transformation of the bank’s systems and implement all regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data security and privacy;
• Optimally quick and adequate response in case of unforeseen problems;
• Lead and mentor a team of database administrators and application support specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence;
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency, service delivery and continuity of the workflow and all systems.
• Support and implement the required DevOps workflows – CI/CD and Infrastructure as a Code, in close cooperation with the software development teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in database administration or application management, with 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and/or MS SQL databases and enterprise applications (e.g., Core banking, DWH, CRM systems);
• Proven experience with database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability solutions;
• English language – Upper-Intermediate or higher level.
