IT OPERATOR

For our IT Systems Operations Section, we are currently looking for an ambitious, results-oriented and analytical person to become part of our team in IT Operations & Infrastructure Department. Main responsibilities, goals and tasks:

* Perform Daily and End of Day procedures as well as Backup and Recovery procedures;

* Perform user administration for the informational and accounting systems of the bank;

* Monitor system logs during the execution of the procedures and report all incidents to the Senior specialist or to the Section Head;

* Participation in solving of problems with the informational systems;

* Set up and parameterize the accounting/card systems according to the Bank’s Tariff or business requirements;

* Implementation of new version of information systems;

* Process information from/to external organizations;

* Generate, distribute and deliver reports to Postbank users;

* Work on shifts.

Main requirements:

* University degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Electronics;

* Work with MS Office applications (MS Outlook, MS Excel) ;

* Experience with MS Windows Server environment;

* Experience with UNIX environment is an advantage;

* Knowledge of scripting languages is an advantage;

* Experience with accounting/banking/card software is an advantage;

* Knowledge of bank activities, regulations and bank business processes is an advantage;

* Good command of English – written and spoken;

* Problem solving and analytic thinking skills;

* Desire for improvement and optimization.
