Mobile QA Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with automation and mobile testing experience to join our growing engineering team!

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify bugs early, ensure test coverage is strong, and deliver smooth, bug-free releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and maintain automated tests for iOS, Android, and APIs.

• Build and expand our test automation framework using WebdriverIO, Appium, and Cucumber.

• Perform regression and integration testing in CI/CD pipelines.

• Execute API testing using Postman and create validation scripts.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to investigate and report bugs.

• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation can’t reach.

• Contribute to test planning, requirement reviews, and sprint ceremonies.

• Help evolve our QA strategy and improve test coverage, reliability, and speed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in QA, with experience in both manual and automation testing.

• Mandatory experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android).

• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Appium, and Cucumber.

• Proven experience using Postman and writing test scripts.

• Required experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket Pipelines).

• Required experience with device cloud platforms (e.g. BrowserStack).

• Mandatory experience with JavaScript automation tools.

• Strong debugging and collaboration skills.

• Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

• Startup, fintech, or fast-paced environment experience is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.

• Background in fintech, payments, or customer-facing technology.

• Prior experience in a startup or small company environment.
