Senior DevOps Engineer

PODIX is a Bulgarian IT service company focused on offshore/nearshore software development services. We cover a diverse range of technologies in various industries – from creative and design to front-end and mobile development and back-end integration, testing and delivery.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Specialist with expertise in RDBMS to join our dynamic team and work on an innovative web application for a global leader in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the daily operation of the K8S cluster; managing deployments and services and configuration changes;
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
• Managing infrastructure and automating processes throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Monitoring the system and application performance;
• Collaboration with the development team to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the application.

Requirements:

• Solid experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker;
• Extensive experience with Helm charts and Argo CD for Kubernetes deployments;
• Previous experience with AWS;
• Background in Networking will be considered an advantage;
• Strong experience with RDBMS administration (preferably PostgreSQL & MSSQL);
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, particularly GitHub Actions;
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and observability;
• Strong operational background;
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal);
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
