Job Description

Your influential mission. You will…

• Champion data flow and database health – ensure our databases are optimized, secure, and handle high transaction volumes.
• Develop and maintain critical components – build and support essential parts of our platform using a test-driven development approach.
• Collaborate in an agile environment – participate in daily stand-ups and weekly planning meetings with a geographically diverse team across Sweden, Ukraine, Poland, and Bulgaria.
• Shape the future – work alongside fellow Software Engineers to define the platform’s roadmap and strategic direction.
• Empower support – partner with our support team to troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and maintain a smooth-running production system.

Qualifications

Components for success. You…

• Have experience in developing and maintaining databases.
• Possess strong expertise in MySQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of AWS to leverage cloud-based solutions effectively.
• Have a solid foundation in ETL/BI technologies for seamless data management and analysis.
• Contribute proficiency in Java to build robust software components.
• Offer fluency in Python to create versatile and adaptable functionalities.
• Understand and embrace good development practices such as code reviews, test automation and you take pride in writing code that is easy to test, read and maintain.
• Are creative person, who does not settle and is always eager to learn and develop new things.

You’ll get extra points for…

• Familiarity with Redshift, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Ansible, Docker, or Ruby on Rails.
• Understanding of Linux administration.

The platform team is a multi-functional, agile team, that is responsible for both operating the systems as well as building new exciting features towards our long list of highly successful customers and the desire to enter new regulated markets. The Platform is used for integrating operators, delivering the games as well as reporting, configuration and monitoring of the gaming operation.
