Playtech’s Development team is looking for a Backend Developer with PHP, responsible for the development and support of software applications, software defect fixing, and analysis of requirements for software projects.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will…

• Develop software modules according to coding standards.
• Optimize the performance of the application.
• Follow internal company project and communication processes.
• Create and review the documentation related to software development projects.
• Give time estimates and status reports.
• Fix defects in the software according to defect descriptions.
• Take part in investigations and search for solutions to cross-component questions.
• Validate and review software projects.

Qualifications

Components for success. You…

• Possess excellent knowledge of Git, Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL, PHP (OOP), Vue.js.
• Have a good understanding of relational data structures.
• Are familiar with REST APIs, Symfony Framework, Java Script, CSS, HTML.
• Demonstrate knowledge of dependency management with composer and npm/yarn.
• Know basic Linux principles and usage of bash commands.
• Have experience in a team-oriented environment.
• Communicate proficiently in English.

• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
