Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria is growing. You will be able to work with different teams within the PHOENIX Group in Europe, being involved in projects related to SAP, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, OCC, Business Intelligence, ERP, and CRM Solutions. You will have the chance to participate in the development of projects and products that are diverse, visible, interesting, and for the public welfare and health. You will work in an international environment and culture with a constant exchange of onsite-/offsite knowledge.
We are looking for an IT Specialist Workload Automation and Scripting to join our international team in Sofia.
Your Responsibilities:
• Implementation of new and changed batch processes under SAP, VSE, Unix, Windows and OS400 in our APX scheduling system.
• Creation and maintenance of scripts or JCL on the platforms mentioned above and creation of associated documentation.
• Processing of service requests, incidents and other tickets in the mentioned environment.
• Monitoring of job runs and reporting or cleaning up job cancellations as a 2nd level, in cooperation with the specialist department, developers and system engineers.
• Participation in various national and international IT projects.
Your profile:
• Training as an IT specialist or career changer with comparable, long-term knowledge in the IT environment.
• Knowledge of working with modern SAP systems, such as e.g. B. SAP HANA.
• Good knowledge of at least one scripting language commonly used in the SAP, UNIX, mainframe or Windows environment and of the underlying system environment.
• Distinctive analytical skills, as well as goal-oriented and independent working methods.
• Experience with a job scheduling system such as e.g. B. APX, UC4, Control-M or TWS are desirable.
• Participation in on-call duty (a regular night shift would also be possible as an alternative) in a fixed cycle, taking into account agreed tariff and non-tariff surcharges as well as readiness for a maximum of 3-4 annual special operations on weekends.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English and German (nice to have).
