Data Scientist

Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria, is growing, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join us in the Data Scientist position. You’ll be part of an international team, working in a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas both onsite and offsite.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop data science solutions for business-critical topics in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Build and automate machine learning models and data pipelines.
• Contribute to the deployment of models and applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Work with engineers and product teams to solve real-world business problems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to collaborative development workflows.
• Stay curious and up-to-date with trends in AI and machine learning.

Your Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Solid programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn.
• Experience with SQL and data preprocessing techniques.
• Understanding of advanced machine learning techniques (e.g. time series forecasting, parallel computing, other).
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Cloud & DevOps workflows (e.g. CI/CD, Azure ML, Docker).
• Data visualization, dashboarding or full stack app development.
• Agile project collaboration and stakeholder communication.
• Domain expertise in areas such as logistics, supply chain, pricing, or gen AI.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in English (B2 or higher).
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn.
