    Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria, is growing, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join us in the Active Directory System Administrator position. You’ll be part of an international team, working in a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas both onsite and offsite.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Operate 3rd level and secure the on-prem Active Directory Tier-0 environment (patching, hardening, functional levels, service stability).
    • Design and govern the AD structure (OU model & delegations, naming conventions, standard configurations).
    • Own enterprise-wide Group Policy and core AD services (GPO rollout affecting users/computers, DNS zones/forwarders/delegations).
    • Ensure resilience and compliance (backup execution/restore readiness, security controls, auditability).
    • Provide expertise and consulting for migrations/carve-outs for our European business partners (pre-qualified escalations, partner consulting, pen test & migration readiness).
    • Support a hybrid identity setup by aligning on-prem AD standards and changes with the Entra ID team (e.g., sync dependencies, identity governance, and end-to-end troubleshooting).

    Your Requirements:

    • Degree in computer science or similar qualified IT education and several years of work in the IT.
    • Hands-on experience in Active Directory administration, GPO, DNS, PKI and related protocols.
    • Microsoft (Server / Azure) and ITIL certifications are an advantage.
    • High level of analysis, design, and problem-solving skills.
    • Team player with a confident and service-oriented personality.
    • Very good written and spoken English skills.
