We are expanding our development teams and are looking for a PHP Developer to work on our core projects, developing new functionality within the Paynetics system. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Technical and Product Development teams to deliver innovative, high-performance, and reliable API-driven solutions for our fast-evolving, market-leading products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications for financial and payment products
• Enhance, maintain, and refactor existing systems to improve performance, security, and scalability
• Analyze requirements and adapt applications to evolving business and technical needs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Develop and execute tests using sample datasets to ensure application accuracy, reliability, and stability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in a timely manner
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies by consulting technical documentation, manuals, and industry resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements & Skillset:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP software development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and MVC architecture, with hands-on experience using Symfony
• Solid experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Experience with Go (Golang) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical and structured approach
• High attention to detail and commitment to code quality
• Creative mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions
• Persistence and patience when addressing complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
