PHP Developer

Ozone Entertainment is one of the Balkans largest and fastest-growing e-commerce projects, with origins in Bulgaria. Our current portfolio includes ozone.bg, our international arm with websites in Romania, Greece, and Croatia, as well as our retail stores Pulsar Games, Ozone Live, and PhotoPavilion.

The IT department at Ozone.bg is expanding quickly to accommodate the management of all of our current brands and allow for further expansion in both Bulgaria and Europe.

In the context of its continuous development, we are looking for a skilled and highly motivated PHP Developer to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-structured, and efficient PHP code, ensuring quality and performance of the designated feature;
• Regularly update and maintain existing components, incorporating new features and improvements as needed;
• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy custom Magento 1 modules;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in eCommerce industry field;
• Document code, processes, and development-related resources for internal and external use;
• Integrate 3rd party software solutions

Position requirements:

• 3 + years of experience with PHP 7
• Experience with software development in the e-Commerce industry
• Good knowledge of SQL (v5.7)
• Experience with VCS (GIT)
• Experience with building and integrating REST APIs
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly identify and fix issues.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Laravel framework
• Familiar with message brokers and orchestrators (DB Queues, SQS, RabitMQ, etc.)
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development technologies;
• Familiarity with Frontend libraries such as Bootstrap and jQuery.
• Understanding of virtualization and containerization platforms and tools such as Docker, K8S
• SEO techniques understanding and hands-on experience
• Prior experience with Magento 1 will be considered as big advantage
