We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer with an expertise in frontend and backend engineering to build with us a next generation events booking platform that our hosts and guests love. In this role you will work closely with our CTO on everything including:

• prototyping and developing new features
• testing new features, sites and applications to ensure perfect performance in different environments
• carrying out code refactoring and optimisation of existing code
• maintaining the integrity and reliability of the platform
• identifying & implementing improvements
• working to implement growth projects (SEO, growth hacking)

Our tech stack is built on PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS

About you

You have some experience as a software engineer and especially in front end web development (work or personal projects), you are a team player and problem solver, you are a self-starter and you have:

• attention to detail and an eye for design
• the motivation to build an outstanding customer centric product
• strong coding ability (2+ years experience) in one or more of the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS
• good command of English

Nice to have (optional):

• understanding of APIs
• experience working with relational databases (MySQL)
• experience with scaling and maintaining high-traffic production systems
• understanding of Stripe integrations / applications
• design and UX knowledge
• French language knowledge
