    Job Description:

    We are on the lookout for a Data Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud, to play a crucial role in architecting and implementing our data infrastructure. This position involves designing and building scalable and reliable data pipelines, ensuring the data is accessible and usable for driving business insights and decisions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, construct, and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
    • Develop and maintain scalable and reliable data architecture to support business requirements.
    • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data in a ready-to-use form for analysis and insights generation.
    • Implement best practices for data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
    • Optimize data workflows and processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
    • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Engineer, with significant exposure to cloud-based data solutions.
    • Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
    • Proficient in programming languages relevant to data engineering (e.g., Python, SQL).
    • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
    • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.

    Desired Competencies:

    • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or similar.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
