We at Modeshift are seeking a Technical Implementation Manager.
Modeshift is a product development company building software for public transportation. Our goal is to improve the life of the people by providing better transportation services. Our product covers the full spectrum of transportation management needs, covering passengers’ mobile apps, vehicle schedules and monitoring, fare management, payment processing, and analytics. This is tightly integrated with our various devices – handhelds, validators, vehicle computers, etc. Our system is used in multiple cities in the US and EU.

We are looking for an exceptional client-facing technical project/delivery manager with strong project control and negotiation skills to implement our cloud-based platform at transit agencies across the globe.
You will be responsible for managing the implementation of public transit solutions(ticketing/EMV/AVL/DRT/etc.) through their entire lifecycle, from proposal to delivery, including all software, hardware (onboard bus validators, ticket vending machines, board computers, retail channels), through to final launch planning.
You’ll work with our sales team, product managers, field services, and support teams.
Your daily responsibilities will include the following:
Develop project timelines, secure client approval, and allocate resources for timely completion.
Oversee client satisfaction, monitor milestones, evaluate potential risks, and deliver regular updates to all involved parties. Facilitate client meetings to review progress.
Maintain strict compliance with the project’s defined scope and manage any necessary changes effectively.
Support the client onboarding process.
Act as a liaison among crucial engineering, product, and customer services departments.
Consistently refine and enhance the project delivery methodology to guarantee consistent and reliable results.
Strong experience in project management using agile methodologies.
Experience of the entire project lifecycle, from bid to delivery
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management solutions like Jira
Robust system and business analytical thinking
Proficient in written and verbal business English, with exceptional communication capabilities, and able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Prior experience with delivery management of connected systems and GovTech solutions will be considered a huge plus.
