    We at Modeshift are seeking a support engineer interested in maintaining systems that significantly impact people’s lives.

    Company
    Modeshift is a product development company building software for public transportation. Our goal is to improve the life of the people by providing better transportation services. Our product covers the full spectrum of transportation management needs, covering passengers’ mobile apps, vehicle schedules, and monitoring, fare management, payment processing, and analytics. This is tightly integrated with various devices that we use – handhelds, validators, vehicle computers, etc. Our system is used in multiple cities US, Romania, and Bulgaria.     Responsibilities
    •    Provide support via a ticketing system to our clients in Romania.
    •    Understand   the system in detail, allowing you to analyze problems and provide solutions independently or with the help of a developer.
    •    Be the customer’s representative in front of the Engineering team.
    •    Maintain and expand the internal and clients’ knowledge bases

    Qualifications  
    •    Proficiency in Romanian, proficiency in English is an advantage
    •    Attention to detail and ability to analyze information
    •    A drive to better yourself and to improve your skills
    •    Previous experience as a customer support is a plus
    •    Previous experience with software, support systems and workflows is a plus
    •    Good technical foundation, experience with Web, Networking, Databases, SQL.
