Senior Data Integration Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect systems, applications, and data across enterprise environments. You will work closely with architects, analysts, and business teams to enable seamless data flow and process automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integration solutions using APIs, messaging, and ETL tools
• Implement and support Informatica Integrations and integrations on platforms such as Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather integration requirements
• Build and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and external consumption
• Ensure secure, reliable, and scalable integration workflows
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues and performance bottlenecks
• Document integration designs, configurations, and support procedures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration standards and practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in integration development, backend development, or API engineering
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Integration/ Informatica CDI and integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management), MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, and Apache Camel
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs, including design, development, and lifecycle management
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)
• Experience working with JSON, XML, CSV, and protocols like HTTP, AMQP, MQTT, or Webhooks
• Familiarity with cloud-native integration patterns and hybrid cloud/on-premise connectivity
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment of integration components
• Ability to monitor integration flows, debug issues, and optimize performance
• Strong skills in documenting integration flows, APIs, and technical specifications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams

We would consider it as advantage, if you are:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, MuleSoft Certified Developer, or equivalent certifications (preferred)
• Experienced in Databricks and/ or Snowflake
