About the Project

The Mobile Wave Solutions team is growing! We are looking for a Java Developer!

Our client is building a new platform from the ground up, aiming to redefine work for underserved nurses & carers. Their goal is to become a world-leading provider of healthcare services by building a platform to connect healthcare workers directly to those in need of care. How do they do that? By creating a  biosphere of care, that ensures that every touchpoint results in a positive experience that they want to share with others. They’ve already released several products that have had a fundamental impact on the business and you’ll be joining at a time when the change is accelerating across all departments

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop new features and functionality for high transaction, large-scale websites
• Participate in the design, implementation and code review process of full stack end-to-end solutions
• Design modular, scalable and portable solutions
• Write clean, readable and reusable code, on time and on quality
• Be able to deliver to deadlines, as required in the agile methodology
• Be able to organize and prioritize work appropriately, as required

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• 3 + years of experience working as a Java Software Engineer
• Experience with Spring or Spring Boot framework
• Practical experience working in cloud environment preferably with AWS and Kubernetes
• Experience with Microservices architecture/developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with Kafka or alternatives is highly preferred
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
