Job Title: DevOps Engineer

What You’ll Do:
Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Lead the containerization efforts using Docker and orchestrate complex applications with Kubernetes across multiple environments.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring infrastructure is version-controlled and reproducible.
Automate configuration management, deployment, and monitoring tasks using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Ensure high availability and reliability of applications and infrastructure, focusing on fault tolerance and disaster recovery strategies.
Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that streamline and automate the software development lifecycle.
Optimize cloud resource usage, monitoring costs, and making recommendations for efficient infrastructure use.
Maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
Implement security best practices in infrastructure, including encryption, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
Drive process improvements, focusing on automation, standardization, and efficiency in the deployment process.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in production and non-production environments.
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering role, with expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong experience in Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on knowledge of container orchestration, service mesh, and scaling strategies.
Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform, with proven experience in creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting IaC in production.
Proficiency in Ansible (or similar tools like Puppet or Chef) for configuration management and automation.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, with experience using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps to automate deployment processes.
Familiarity with cloud networking, VPCs, load balancing, security groups, and cloud-native services.
Strong background in Linux administration, with skills in scripting (Bash, Python) and automation.
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system health and performance.
Experience in cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management.
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
Hands-on experience with service mesh technologies like Istio, Linkerd, or Consul.
Knowledge of serverless architectures and containerized serverless solutions.
Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.
Contributions to open-source projects or a passion for DevOps community involvement.
