    MentorMate is a custom software development powerhouse with mature and established practices in Enterprise Web & Mobile Development, Technical Architecture, Human-Centered Design, Cloud & DevOps, Advanced Data Мanagement & Analytics.

    We are looking to hire a Senior JavaScript Developer with Vue.js who will take a key technical role in a project for a leading client in the banking industry in Canada. You will participate in designing a wealth management system to support their customers in managing the clients’ assets and cash flow. While working on the project, you will use a combination between Scrum and Kanban approaches.

    You don’t need astronaut skills to become part of our incredible Vue team. You simply need to have significant experience building user interfaces and single-page applications with Vue, to love writing tests (or specs, whichever you prefer), and to work in a dynamic environment with international clients.

    What will be your responsibilities

    • Participate in the architecture, design, and development phase of software production
    • Build single-page applications with Vue.js
    • Build server-side RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)
    • Deliver high-quality software with extensive Unit Testing
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
    • Enforce best coding and UI standards, evaluate others’ work
    • Participate successfully in an established daily Scrum process

    What you need to have

    • 2+ years of experience with Vue.js
    • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript
    • Experience with HTML5, CSS3
    • Experience with Vuex, Mobx, Flux, or Redux
    • Experience in developing cross-browser web applications
    • Proficiency in interaction with a wide variety of APIs
    • Ability and desire to work in a team and awesome communication skills
    • Excellent spoken and written English

    A significant advantage would be

    • Experience with JS OOP Design Patterns
    • Experience with React.js/Angular
    • Experience with back-end technologies (PHP, Python, RubyonRails, Node.js)
    • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
