Position overview:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Mortgage Modernization unit, located at Matrix Bulgaria. This is a full-time position (100% allocation) and offers an opportunity to play a vital role in a key financial project. The selected candidate will be part of a development team working within an advanced cloud architecture environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior developer and provide technical leadership within the project team.
• Participate in the design and development of microservices and system components using Java.
• Integrate project components with neighboring systems for seamless operation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing Java as part of a team (mandatory).
• At least two years of experience working with tabular databases and NoSQL databases; experience with MongoDB is considered an advantage.
• Proven skills and experience in developing microservices (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience developing or using cloud services is required; experience working within an AWS environment is a plus.
• Experience in client-side development and interfacing with services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and supporting systems such as JIRA is essential.
• Good command of English, including reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
