Your new role:

As a Manual Functional Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our prototypes and products within the R&D department. You will develop and execute test procedures, and methods. Your goal – to ensure proper device functionality and compliance with industry as well as customer specifications. Additionally, you will validate product reliability by analyzing and troubleshooting components, and equipment throughout various stages of the product development process. You will work closely with the software development team to ensure seamless integration and comprehensive testing.

Responsibilities

Execute manual functional tests of hardware devices;

Prepare execution plans and test procedures;

Research schematics and third-party equipment manuals;

Prepare, edit, and improve internal knowledge base articles;

Utilize test instruments to test the functionality and performance of products;

Set up and configure third-party alarm panels and IoT devices;

Serve as second-level technical support when needed.

Requirements:

High school specialty diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent;

Knowledge of communication interfaces, digital electronics, and multilayer PCB design;

A master’s degree in electronic engineering is an advantage.
