Job Description

You will be part of our core engineering team of world-class software engineers, building a product with no equivalent. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and advance professionally by working with various technologies, enhancing all LucidLink web products.

You must have a solid fundamental knowledge in software development. You must also have experience in software engineering best practices like agile development, automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration/continuous delivery and test driven development.

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience working on SaaS technologies.
• Web service architectures.
• Experience building and developing with the WordPress framework (Gutenberg is a plus).
• Expertise in frontend technologies ( React.js, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Less, Sass).
• Expertise in backend technologies (Node.js, PHP).
• Good understanding of design patterns and OOP.
• Databases – SQL(MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB is a plus).
• Cloud services in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
• Identifying and solving site speed and performance issues.
• Experience with API design and implementation.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Your responsibilities:

• Work with the development team and product managers to ideate and implement web software solutions.
• Design and develop highly scalable fault-tolerant solutions.
• Challenge technical decisions to build better web products.
• Collaborate with the InfoSec team to ensure our website complies with data privacy requirements and best practices for security.
• Building custom WordPress plug-ins.
• Creating custom WordPress themes.
• Develop Gutenberg blocks.
• Enhance an existing website to optimize the speed performance and guarantee consistency and reliability.
• Work side by side with the senior developers to create extensible and secure client-side and server-side architectures.
• Write easy to use, scalable, extensible and secure public APIs.
