    Overall Purpose:

    The IT PMO is responsible manage the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office including the overall controls and governance and lead the evolution of portfolio management processes to support Value Driven journey of DT&A organization.

    This role is central to strategy and acts to collaborate across the DT&A organization to ensure the successful execution of our entire portfolio of projects.

    Main accountabilities:

    • Drive increasing Project Management Maturity by leading management and evolution of portfolio, program and project governance frameworks and the development of appropriate reporting tools.
    • Drive timely and transparent reporting of Project delivery to support IT Governance
    • Structure process, Governance and reporting to achieve tracking against the portfolio of change and proactively highlight issues and risks in delivery
    • Manage prioritization, controls and risk throughout the portfolio
    • Lead project lifecycle process through Project Gate reviews and looking for opportunities to extend control towards the entire portfolio
    • Increase the quality of Issue and Risk Management through constructive review and coaching aligned to agreed standards
    • Support continual improvement across all areas of IT, by establishing and tracking of IT KPIs and variance to targets
    • IT Financials processes, working in close relationship with the IT Financial Controller: structuring and delivering IT financial processes and reporting for the project portfolio including contribution to the annual budget process, variance and forecasting. Use metrics and tracking to improve financial stewardship across the projects portfolio
    • Project Quality Assurance – establish and drive quality assurance standards on Project Management and checks across IT
    • Participate to Project Management Practice regarding Project lifecycle, finance and reporting in particular.
    • Coach junior project manager and at risk projects on good practice and how to bring back project on track.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer Sciences or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Experience:
      • 7+ years in IT and IT services management experience
      • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior project manager or 3 years as a senior program/portfolio manager in complex environments focused on IT Solutions and business change
      • Experience in establishing and leading a Project Management Office
      • Practical Expertise in various project methodologies (AgiIe/Scrum/Kanban/WaterfaII/Six Sigma/etc.)
      • 3+ years of in-depth experience finance and budget management (capex/opex/depreciation)
    • Knowledge:
      • Knowledge of best practice project management methodologies and techniques to provide sound advice and support to Project Managers and Sponsors. Ensuring appropriate quality assurance and risk management processes and policies are in place and operating effectively.
      • Project management qualifications including PRINCE2 or PMP practitioner and Managing Successful Programs
      • Pro-actively monitor and control project baselines within the portfolio (scope, time, quality, cost)
      • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team Good understanding of IT application development and infrastructure
      • Ability to improve operational efficiency and service delivery across the IT organization
      • Strong ITIL knowledge
      • Experience working with a geographically dispersed team

    Languages: Fluent in English, oral and written is a must

    Soft skills:

    • Ability to move easily across different projects and initiatives, to prioritize and manage many open cases at any given time
    • Deep critical thinking attitude to be able to manage ambiguity and complexity comfortably
    • Inclination to make improvements, find new ideas and challenge the status quo
    • Excellent in execution with natural sense of duty and urgency to drive the change
    • Strong analysis and synthesis capacity, ability to negotiate and influence both internally and externally
    • Excellent teamwork, communication & collaboration skills and capacity to establish rapport and persuade others
    • Ability to lead and develop new and existing team members

    Business & Technical skills:

    • Strong IT Service management knowledge and experience
    • Issue and Risk Management
    • Broad understanding of IT, from operations and systems to policies and best practices
    • Excellent understanding of portfolip management and Process, ITIL certification will be a plus
    • Excellent Project management skills (scope and quality management, resource management, budget management, issue management, stakeholder management), PM certification will be a plus
    • Agile and waterfall methodology experience, Agile certification is a plus
    • Strong solution management skills (understanding on IT business process in solution design and configuration experience, etc.)
    • Financial skills to manage projects and operations finance and drive on-going cost optimization

    Staff:  1 external resources potential to expand to few people

    Interactions/ interface: Interaction across IT organization to ensure adherence to portfolio processes and governance across the organization
