    This is an exciting opportunity to join LivePerson as a DevOps/SRE tech lead and help build the discipline as part of a new Service organization. We’re looking for passionate engineer to empower product developers to build and optimize running services in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). We need senior individual contributor that have strong experience around DevOps, observability, deployments, and automation. The right candidate will also have a history of automating operations for distributed systems, databases, and/or networks on bare metal and a proven track record moving those to the cloud.


    You will:


    Design and develop E2E Monitoring system used by the entire LivePerson Engineering community

    Building E2E at scale to support 400K runs per day with in multiple GCP regions

    Experience with building infrastructure as a code, preferably Terraform

    Experience working with Jenkins on the Cloud

    Design and build the entire Synthetic Monitoring End2End which include Data sources like MySql, Elasticsearch, hosting back-end and Front-end, Cloudrun, Kubernetes,docker CI/CD pipelines for the entire engineering team

    Design and build self service pipeline for the engineering teams

    Be part of a team which incorporates all aspects of software engineering aspects: Back-end & Front-end, Automation and CloudOps.

    Provide top notch E2E monitoring solution to strategic accounts

    Track and reduce toil (manual, repetitive work) through automation

    Design, develop, and drive troubleshooting & mitigation tools as part of driving self healing agenda across the company

    Partner closely with leaders across LivePerson to drive a culture of operational excellence by providing data driven insights as well as design, write, and deliver solutions for all developers to utilize.


    You have:

    Proficiency with a programming language like Python or NodeJS and with shell scripting- Must

    4 years of experience in a DevOps discipline – Must

    2 years of experience as a DevOps tech lead / Senior DevOps – Must

    You have strong software development skills and can work cross-functionally with senior SDEs as peers – Must

    You have 4+ years of experience running services in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud- Must

    Expert level knowledge of CI/CD tooling, monitoring e.g. Jenkins – Must

    Experimentation, and a proven track record delivering solutions in one or more of these areas.

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
