WHAT YOU WILL DO

As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the primary owner of the infrastructure powering our platform. This role is not about chasing tickets — it is about embedding quality, automation, and reliability into every stage of the development lifecycle. You will:

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines or similar).
• Automate MSSQL setup, configuration, and high availability workflows.
• Migrate and automate legacy deployment and installation processes in Windows server environments.
• Manage and optimize our Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem (scaling, security, cost management).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system reliability and observability.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure smooth releases and integration.

You will have space to propose solutions, introduce improvements, and take technical ownership.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer eager to design, implement, launch and scale next-generation software for life-science research labs — someone motivated by solving real-world workflow fragmentation and delivering robust automation.

You communicate with clarity, manage your time effectively, and enjoy collaborating with a small, talented team on complex challenges.

Must-haves:

• 3+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or infrastructure automation roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Solid MSSQL automation experience (scripting, setup, HA solutions).
• Scripting expertise (PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform or Bicep).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-haves:

• Docker / containerization exposure.
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Basic understanding of software development (e.g. .NET or NodeJS/NextJS).
• Networking fundamentals and SRE principles.
