The Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Full-Stack Developer (.NET) to join our team in Sofia. In this role, you will be a core contributor to the design, development, and deployment of our platform’s features. You will work across the entire stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services, ensuring every component is robust, scalable, and reliable. Your work will directly impact our mission to help scientists achieve their digital dreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features for our platform, from concept to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and services using the .NET framework.
• Work with relational databases to manage and optimize data storage.
• Collaborate closely with our product and QA teams to deliver high-quality software in an agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development.
• Backend: Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.
• Frontend: Proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript, as well as styling frameworks like TailwindCSS.
• Web Services: Proven experience in building and consuming web services and RESTful APIs.
• Databases: Proven experience with SQL Server, Redis Cache, and Entity Framework, including database design and performance optimization.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Architecture: Knowledge of architectural patterns like Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture.
• Practices: Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in English.

Will be a plus if you also have:

• Experience with Scientific Software or the Life Sciences industry.
• Experience in applying AI/ML models to solve real-world problems, such as intelligent data analysis, automated summarization, or semantic search.
• Familiarity with Micro Front-end architecture and performance optimization.
• Experience with OpenID Connect and NextAuth.js
