Senior Front-End Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Front-End developer will work on the development of efficient and effective web solutions with the React framework.

Job duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing scalable Front-End React based application.
• Create high-quality, reusable web components using React and Typescript.
• Collaborate with the UX and Backend teams to craft attractive user interfaces.
• Participate in architectural and design decisions.
• Write clean and scalable Typescript code, acting as a pilar and example of best practices, ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Having sense of ownership and ability to push things towards completion.
• Mentor and guide more junior members of the team.

Experience and Knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience using React & Typescript.
• Strong understanding of state management tools such as Redux, Context API, Recoil.
• Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite, Babel.
• Experience with CSS libraries or methodologies like Styled Components, SASS/SCSS, CSS Modules, or Tailwind CSS.
• Good understanding of CI/CD practices – build, deploy, pipelines definition.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and React Testing Library.
• Ability to write clean, scalable and maintainable code.
• Experience with guiding the team towards achieving goals.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Next.js, React Native or Node.js
• Knowledge of using Swagger/Postman
• Experience with React Native & Next.js
• Experience in using the Figma toolset
• Experience using Git
