Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Specialist

For the development and further development of a scalable cloud data platform, an experienced GCP Data Specialist is sought. The goal is to implement high-performance, maintainable and cost-efficient data architectures for analytics and reporting use cases in an international environment.

What are we looking for?

• Design and implementation of modern data architectures on Google Cloud Platform
• Development and optimization of scalable data pipelines (batch & streaming)
• Development of data warehouse / lakehouse structures in BigQuery
• Implementation and optimization of ETL/ELT processes
• Performance and cost optimization within the GCP environment
• Implementation of data governance, security and access concepts
• Technical coordination with international stakeholders

And if you meet the following criteria

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with GCP in the data environment

In-depth project experience with:

• BigQuery
• Dataflow
• Pub/Sub
• Cloud Storage
• Cloud Composer (or similar orchestration)
• Very good SQL skills
• Very good Python skills (alternatively Java/Scala)
• Experience in data modeling (e.g. Star Schema, Data Vault)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) desirable
• Independent, structured and proactive way of working
• Fluent English
