Functional Analyst Autolease

The KBC Autolease Delivery & Support team operates within KBC Autolease and is responsible for the development and support of Miles, MoveSmart and MoveSmart Mobile. These are purchased and curated applications that manage KBC Autolease’s entire portfolio of cars and bikes. This includes both technical and application support. The team consists of both application engineers, functional analysts and application managers. To structurally strengthen the KBC Autolease delivery and support (IT) team, we are looking for a functional analyst who can also take on the role of system architect. We want you to take on a varied, exciting role with lots of challenges in functional and data analysis.

Job Description:

As our Functional Analyst, you would have the following responsibilities: 

• Within the KBC Autolease delivery and support (IT) team, you are responsible for the functional analysis of change requests submitted by business;
• You translate business requirements into functionally described solutions, also taking into account non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability and security;
• Data analysis also belongs to one of your tasks, your main focus is discussing and translating business needs into concrete data requirements and finding solutions for those requirements;
• You investigate and validate data-driven solutions by performing analysis of the available data and ensuring the proposed solution meets business expectations;
• You support ad hoc reporting and analytical requests based on your own analyses where required;
• You gather and analyze business requirements for new reports and enhancements to existing reports, based on the data available in the information layer;
• You contribute to the delivery and improvement of reporting solutions, including Qlik Sense reporting where applicable;
• As a functional analyst, you are responsible for analyzing customer questions and determining appropriate solutions based on business needs;
• Together with the team, you are responsible for managing applications, products or technology domains to deliver high quality service at the application level;
• You ensure the creation and maintenance of documentation/best practices to ensure continuity of knowledge.

• Proven experience working as a bridge between IT and Business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, or experience in a similar role;
• You have knowledge of Oracle and SQL and are able to understand and analyse SQL queries, as well as create simple SQL statements when required;
• Knowledge of Qlik Sense is considered an advantage, or you are willing to learn and use the tool;
• You are a team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve common goals;
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• You possess strong organizational skills, flexibility and a willingness to dive into the details when required;
• You remain effective under pressure and can manage multiple priorities;
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
