Behind the scenes of KBC’s digital channels – Mobile, Touch, Website and Business Dashboard – works a great team that loves innovation and challenge. As a Software Developer within this team, you will work with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), the Digital Asset and Content Management system which is crucial for a smooth operation of the KBC Mobile and the other digital channels.

If you do not yet have AEM experience, no problem. Through internal training courses, we will teach you this knowledge.

As our Full stack/Java developer, you would have the following responsibilities:

• You will develop front and backend code for website applications within the AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) environment;
• You take care of the maintenance of our systems. Think about upgrades, smaller adjustments or production follow-up;
• You collaborate with graphic designers for web design features;
• You will work through a project from concept to final product;
• You have experience in Agile (SAFe), in which we work incrementally towards a tangible result.

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• As a frontend developer, you are familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript;
• As a backend developer, you are experienced with Java, Spring Boot, Maven;
• Experience with development REST API, JSON, HTTP;
• In terms of handling deployments, you can work with Jenkins, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Tomcat and Gitflow.
