The Team:

We are an international team whose mission is to ensure that all entities of the KBC Group are handling their security and cyber risks appropriately.

Our team helps and challenges all entities of the KBC Group and provides assurance to the top management that the associated information and cyber risks are well secured and under control.

Our focus is primarily on Information Security, Cyber and IT-risks, but also on related areas as Group-wide incident and crisis management, business continuity, third party management and cloud technology.

As the risks associated with Information and IT security are evolving rapidly, we decided to invest in expansion of our team. We are now looking for new colleagues with different levels of seniority who will fit into our great team.

As a Cyber Risk Manager you will be responsible for:

• Follow-up of the cyber threat landscape.
• Identification of relevant cyber trends.
• Building and maintaining trusted relationships, inside and outside KBC Group.
• Offering advice on threat response plans and setup to KBC Group entities.
• Incident & crisis management.
• Defining and improving incident procedures.
• Frequent reporting to key stakeholders.
• If interested, spreading security awareness and offering trainings/education to management and colleagues.
• Actively supporting our international communities.
• Every 6 weeks, you will have on-call duty for 1 full week

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• The person we are looking for combines the qualities of a good communicator, team player and expert in the domains of Cybercrime and IT.
• This vacancy is open to applicants with a university degree or relevant experience in ICT.
• Security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus and so is a relevant work experience.
• You are willing to work for a stable company together with top experts on Information risk security.

• You remain calm under pressure and identify constructive solutions.
• You keep your knowledge up to date, using different sources (internal and external).

• You have an understanding of enterprise-level information systems and technology architecture.
• You understand or are willing to familiarize yourself with cyber-attack frameworks (Mitre, Capec, …).
• You have research and analytical skills so you can work with data and identify (patterns related to) security risks and threats.
