Junior DevOps & Cloud Engineer

Job description

• Assist in the management and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability;
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems and applications;
• Develop automation scripts using scripting languages to streamline processes and enhance efficiency;
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to build and maintain our cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure;
• Deploy and manage applications using containerization technologies;
• Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and implement proactive measures to maintain high availability and performance;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of service level agreements (SLAs) and resolve any issues or incidents that may arise;
• Contribute to the documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures;
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing;

The main requirements are:

• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and comfortable working with command-line interfaces.
• Comfortable using at least one scripting language
• Familiarity with:
  • Cloud Platforms
  • Containerization
  • CI/CD tools
  • IaC tools
  • Configuration management
  • Observability tools
• To freely communicate in English – both written and spoken
• Any practical knowledge with a DevOps tools is a plus
