Job description:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Integrate, optimize, and scale services to meet performance, reliability, and business requirements.
• Contribute to the design of cloud-based architectures and the modernization of existing systems.
• Review code, support and guide junior team members, and promote clean code principles and engineering best practices.
• Support the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through deployment and continuous optimization.
• Participate in agile delivery processes and help define technical standards across projects.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized application deployments.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to collaborate directly with clients and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
