    For our team in Sofia, we are looking for a Junior Application Engineer.


    Your responsibilities will be:

    • As part of our Operations Team — performing analysis, troubleshooting, working on a wide range of queries and incidents with focus on our customers e-commerce environments will be your major tasks.
    • The Application Engineer is focused on the application layer of the system, the data flows and the interactions between its modules and components.
    • The main responsibility is to resolve end customer issues as quickly as possible and to support the daily operations of our customer environments in accordance with SLAs and project requirements.
    • Analysis of issues in complex Intershop custom platform environments
    • Evaluation of application operating logs and events.
    • The position requires covering the service availability by participating in on-call rotation on non-business days.
    • Direct communication with the customer (together with Support Communication Specialist)


    The general skill set we strive for:

    • You are communicative and value good customer contacts
    • You have a good technical understanding of web technologies 
    • You have analytical skills for application problems by using monitoring systems and existing log data to identify and describe issues and errors
    • You have already gained first support experience in complex business applications
    • Good written and spoken English
