Manual QA Engineer

This is an on-site role that requires regular presence in our Sofia office.

What You’ll Do:

• Be responsible for all aspects of functional testing of a web-based, mobile applications and back-end
• API software development project
• Design and create compressive test cases to cover fully our products
• Define Test Strategy
• Execute Test Runs in X-ray to identify any defects that has occurred during testing phase
• Test new features and fixed issues in different test environments
• Report, Verify and Manage bugs using Jira
• Keep QA documentation up to date
• Extract logs using Android Studio or X-code for iOS
• Read logs from servers/machines
• Use the Database for various of tests and extracting data
• API testing using Postman
• Report to direct manager and/or Head of department

Skills that you must have:

• At least 5 years prior experience on a similar role
• Experience working with Jira or similar
• Experience working with Confluence or similar
• Analyze requirements and prepare test plans and test scenarios
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience or knowledge of Kanban methodology
• Experience in web / mobile testing (Android and/or iOS)
• Experience with client-server-based architectures
• Deep understanding of QA methodologie
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and great attention to detail
• Good English level for verbal and written communication
• Be a team player

Nice to have:

• Be proactive, methodological, and organized
• API testing with Postman
• Database queries
• Experience with Android Studio and ADB
• Experience working in dynamic environment
