    For one of our clients, we are looking for a Tool EngineerTeam/Center Support Consultant. Our client is a technology company focusing on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. From the creation of more resource-efficient factories and resilient supply chains to the development of smarter buildings and grids, our client is dedicated to providing technology with purpose, ultimately adding significant value for their customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with customer teams to set up and maintain the Nagios tool for generating meaningful Events and effective rules for filtering and correlating;
    • Design, deploy, and maintain Nagios monitoring solutions to monitor servers, network devices, applications, and other critical infrastructure components;
    • Configure Nagios plugins and scripts to monitor various system metrics and services;
    • Perform regular system upgrades and patches to ensure Nagios’ infrastructure remains up-to-date and secure;
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Nagios monitoring alerts and notifications;
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Nagios with existing systems and tools;
    • Create and maintain documentation related to Nagios configurations, procedures, and best practices.
    • Provide training and support to IT staff on Nagios usage and troubleshooting;
    • Filter out events that are merely informational and can be ignored, and communicate any Warning and Exception Events;
    • Detect and respond to events and incidents proactively.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of experience in the IT field and also on Teamcenter PLM;
    • Good understanding of the Nagios application monitoring tool;
    • University degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar;
    • Good English communication skills both written and verbal are a must. Desirable to have good German knowledge skills;
    • Should have experience in core Teamcenter features: e.g. Change Management, Client (RAC, AW), Component Management, Dispatcher, MCAD, Online help/Documentation, Parts, Performance, interfaces (e.g. SAP), Data Management, Integrated Material Management (IMM, substance compliance, BoM check), MS Office integration, Document Management, Reports/Search, User Management, License Management;
    • Experience configuring T4EA & T4S integration and troubleshooting integration issues;
    • Should have experience in BMIDE, ITK, Workflow, Product Structure, Deployment center, etc.
    • Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, Jira, GitHub, etc;
    • Good knowledge in the setup and maintenance of development, test, and production environments, as well as promoting production activities;
    • Understanding ITSM processes is essential like incident management, service management, knowledge management, continuous improvement, problem management, etc.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in C/C++;
    • Knowledge of database administration, and querying database (Oracle / MSSQL);
    • Knowledge of managing scheduled /cron jobs;
    • Certification in Nagios or related technologies;
    • Experience with other monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana;
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
    • Prior experience in configuring Nagios for the Teamcenter application;
    • Prior experience with Teamcenter application monitoring and understanding of Teamcenter architecture and components to be monitored.
