Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)- Identity & Access Management

iC Consult is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to support the development and operation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions built on the Ping Identity and ForgeRock (ForgeOps) platform. The role covers a broad IAM landscape spanning governance, federation, identity lifecycle, provisioning, managed services, single sign-on, customer data management, and GDPR compliance, delivered as part of a distributed DevOps team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Further develop and maintain a large-scale ID broker platform built on Ping Identity / ForgeRock (ForgeOps), serving millions of users and thousands of corporate customers
• Design and implement federation and single sign-on scenarios based on OIDC and SAML, including modern authentication methods such as WebAuthn and passkeys
• Analyze and resolve incidents, permanently eliminating the root cause of complex issues in a platform where downtime is not an option
• Plan and execute data migrations, drive performance optimization and scalability of the IAM infrastructure
• Act as technical point of contact for customers and internal teams: conceptual design, solution consulting, and professional guidance for experienced colleagues

Your Experience:

• Several years of professional experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with in-depth knowledge of identity federation, Single Sign-On (SSO), and the OIDC and SAML protocols.
• Demonstrated project experience with Ping Identity technologies, including PingAM, PingIDM, and PingDS.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating IAM solutions; experience with WebAuthn and passkeys is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer working within distributed, cross-functional DevOps teams.
• Experience with containerized applications and zero-downtime deployment strategies is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with data migration (e.g., to PingDS) and system performance optimization.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; German language skills are an advantage.
