The Opportunity:

● Our Mission: Become the most respected technology consultancy in the world, leading the industry in innovation and client satisfaction

● Your Mission:Architect and develop high-quality React applications, driving innovation and client satisfaction by delivering tailored digital products aligned with Hedgehog Lab’s user-centric approach. Ensure robust design implementation and elevate frontend best practices.

● Aim:Lead complex React projects from concept to deployment, collaborating with UX and design to optimise user experience. Enhance team capabilities through best practices, aligning solutions with hedgehog lab’s commitment to scalability, accessibility, and innovation.

Required

• Commercial experience with React JS
• Comfortable with latest HTML5 and CSS3 methods, including flexbox and css grid; Object Oriented CSS using and atomic approach leveraged with SASS and BEM; Framework experience, Foundation preferred but experience with other, eg Bootstrap etc is acceptable
• Experience of working with Storybook, REST API or GraphQL
• Up to date knowledge of the latest features of React including Hooks and Context API
• An understanding of and experience using the latest features of JS / ECMAScript
• Good understanding of accessibility and how to implement into a web app ensuring the web is accessible for all
• Strong opinions on what goes into making a good react web application
• A solid understanding of networks, HTTP, RESTful APIs and how a web app consumes them
• Working knowledge of Git, Continuous Integration, and other supporting systems

Interview Process

Stage1️⃣ – Intro call with our Talent Acquisition Advisor (30 mins Google Meet)

Stage 2️⃣ – Informal chat with your potential line manager (30 mins Google Meet)

Stage 3️⃣ – Take home tech test (no deadline- return when you’re happy!)

Stage 4️⃣ – Interview with 2 member of the team (60 mins Google Meet)
