For one of our partners, a multinational product company that provides personalized marketing salutations for the European, and not very recently, for the US market, we’re on the lookout for – Head of Back-end Development.
The role is fully remote!
The ideal person for this role should have extensive experience going through the full feature development life cycle.
You will be responsible for managing a group of teams and for the overall Back-end team development, engagement and satisfaction, productivity and quality.
You will be responsible for guiding architectural decisions, ensure excellent engineering quality, handling security and performance issues and mentor engineers to do their best work!
Additional your task will include development of new modules and web-based applications, content management tools and extending the CMS features.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in Web Development using PHP (Symfony, Laravel, etc.)
Extensive knowledge of RESTful patterns and API implementation
Experience working with WordPress
Experience working with one or more CMS (Drupal, Joomla, Magento) will be considered as an advantage
Solid background in building scalable distributed products and practical experience with caching
Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL)
Experience in team management
Good knowledge of English language – spoken and written
Familiar with Python
