Our internal tools and applications teams are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer who is interested in creating high quality internal tools and processes for our internal users. You will be working on an Agile team dedicated to building and improving this modern tools and processes that provide best-in-class research, news, and data to our suite of products.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders and technology team to ensure our internal development teams ship high-quality production code that enhance efficiency, productivity, and are a pleasure to use;
• Work with the technology and business teams during initiative planning to build out and maintain high-quality test plans with comprehensive test scenarios;
• Perform story-level, exploratory, regression, performance, and security testing as required to support platform releases;
• Ensure alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders;
• Manage test automation execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance;
• Contribute to efforts towards increasing test automation coverage;
• Advocate for and drive improvements to the current QA process to drive towards more efficiency where possible.

Requirements

• 5-7 years as a QA engineer supporting the delivery of high quality B2B SaaS web platforms;
• Strong functional testing skills;
• Strong data skills – must be able to understand how to test data-intensive applications;
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or similar;
• Experience with performance testing tools like Apache JMetter, NeoLoad, Gatling;
• Experience using project management / ticketing systems like JIRA;
• 3+ years’ experience on RDBMS – MySQL. Oracle, etc – specifically writing and executing SQL queries;
• Detailed oriented, quality conscious, with an eye toward simplicity;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Scripting experience – shell scripting/Python scripting;
• Experience with security testing tools like Veracode;
• Awareness of effective web UI/UX;
• Testing of web-based Excel Add-Ins.

The current offer

• Hybrid working model – 3 days per week in our office at Polygraphia Office Center, Sofia, Bulgaria, 2 days per week – home office
• Working hours – 11 am – 8 pm EEST ( 3 days/week for the first 6-12 months) – you need to work with our West Coast US tech team. 9 am – 6 pm (2 days/week)

• Salary & bonuses – according to the standard for 2024 in Bulgaria
