Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA to join our team of IT professionals and make an impact on the future of the financial services industry. You will be part of a development team as your main role will be to develop and execute tests’ strategies and plans, analysing performance and results obtained.

Your responsibilities:

•Ability to read and understand functional and technical specification and participate in its development and maintenance

•Develop test scenarios to meet product specification requirements

•Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective strategies and test plans

•Execute test plans and analyse results, to assure the overall quality of the product being developed

•Create and update status of defects found, keeping track on their detailed description and validation

•Proactively participate in meetings to discuss business requirements of new features and improvements

•Coordinate and communicate with the development team on bug fixes and required modifications

•Investigate issues found using API and DB to precisely acquire root cause

•Maintain testing environment, such as applying configurations, branch deployments, etc.

Our requirements:

Must have:

•3+ years of experience in testing web-based and mobile app products

•Ability to analyse and document defects

•Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail

•Ability to communicate in a constructive manner, “can do” attitude

•Experience with project management and bug tracking systems (Jira, Confluence)

•Basic Linux knowledge

•Basic SQL knowledge

•API knowledge (POST, GET, PATCH requests)

Nice to have:

•Experience in investment banking, different type investment assets

•ISTQB certified

•GitLab experience

•Jenkins experience

•Interests in test case automating
