Node.js Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to maintain and enhance monorepo workspace. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with TypeScript, Node.js,  and preferably has knowledge/experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for sustaining our backend services, ensuring seamless integration and deployment, and optimising the architecture for improved performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

– Maintain and enhance the existing monorepo workspace using Yarn Workspaces;

– Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript;

– Manage and optimise PostgreSQL databases;

– Write and maintain unit tests using Jest to ensure code quality;

– Ensure smooth integration and deployment within CI/CD pipelines;

– Utilise Docker to manage containerised applications;

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix bugs, implement new features, and streamline workflows;

– Document code changes and maintain project documentation.
