    We are looking for a highly confident and motivated Junior Data Analyst to join the team. Reporting into the Senior Manager of Change and Optimisation, you will support our quest to achieve operational excellence by playing a key role in supporting the strategy and driving the management and development of our internal business intelligence tool, Fourth Tech Insight (FTi) in the context of continual improvement. Engaging with peers across Technology, you will help to determine what insights, analytics and business data will help us demonstrate the cause and effect of the decisions we make and actions we take. It’s important that our data integrity is of a high standard, therefore pro-active collaboration with business owners to ensure the right governance, practices and processes are in place across our internal data sets is key.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Undertake and deliver data related projects, working with business owners to gather requirements.
    • Use data to create valuable insights that help us to identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure that the design elements of FTi are fit for purpose and consistent.
    • Ensure that the LDM is regularly reviewed so that it remains efficient and fit for purpose.
    • Implement effective governance measures to ensure data integrity.
    • Ensure that everyone is trained and understands the purpose of FTi.
    • Help to coach peers on how to interpret and effectively use the data available to them.
    • Help design experiments that aim to make teams more predictable, capturing accurate baseline measures to demonstrate cause and effect.
    • Use existing data sets to create metrics and dashboards that will provide accurate insight into our predictability.
    • Undertake ad-hoc activities such as data auditing and or creating reports where required.

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to capture, decompose and present information clearly.
    • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • Clear communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders proactively.
    • Quick thinker, pragmatic, innovative problem solver and self-motivated.
    • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Possess a “can-do” attitude and is comfortable working as an individual as well as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in English, spoken and written.

    Desirable Skills and Experience:

    • Attained a Bachelor’s degree.
    • Experience with data and analytics frameworks such as BI tools and data management.
    • Compute programming skills.
    • Knowledge of Lean-Agile Principles and/or Software Development Practices.
