Head of Product

Overview of the role:

We have an exciting new role in our Cayetano team in Flutter Studios for a Head of Product. You will be at the heart of crafting the future of online casino games.

You’ll be reporting into the Head of Studios in a team who all share a passion for our products and understanding of our customers behaviour.

You will collaborate closely with the Head of Operations and Head of Technology to identify and seize opportunities for creative and strategic advancements. Your leadership will ensure our studio remains at the forefront of the industry, fostering an environment where creativity, quality, and innovation intersect.

What you’ll do:

• Champion and communicate the inspiring product vision and strategy for our innovative slot games portfolio.
• Develop and guide the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with our dynamic business goals and the latest market trends.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity within the team.
• Lead a talented team of Product Developers (Game Producers) who are passionate about research, game ideation, specification creation, and ensuring the adherence to the product vision and specifications throughout the design, development phases working toward continuous improvements.
• Conduct insightful market research, player feedback and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities and navigate challenges.
• Collaborate seamlessly with functional managers across quant development, creative, front-end development, and testing teams.
• Partner with compliance teams to ensure our products meet operator requirements and adhere to diverse market regulations.
• Work closely with the R&D department to continuously improve our product development processes and drive innovation.
• Present and advocate for the product strategy, portfolio, and roadmap to senior management, brands, and stakeholders with passion and clarity.
• Measure product success through specific metrics, monitor performance, and adapt strategies based on results to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and guide a team of product developers.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven experience in developing and managing product roadmaps aligned with business goals and market trends.
• Deep understanding of the slot game development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.
• Expertise in prioritizing features and ensuring adherence to product specifications.
• Strong analytical skills to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user experience analysis.
• Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights for product development.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, marketing, compliance).
• Strong relationship management skills to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders, including brand partners and licensors.

Additional Skills:

• Experience in the gaming industry, particularly online slots, is a plus.
• Understanding of diverse market regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with quantitative development, creative, and technical teams.
• Data analysis skills to measure product success and adapt strategies based on performance metrics.
• Passion for innovation and a drive to create high-quality, competitive slot games.
