Senior Python/Django Back-end developer

Fleetpal is a US company with a mission to bring highest quality software solutions to the supply chain industry. We are expanding our team, and we have a job opportunity for Senior Back-end Developers with Django who are striving to achieve ambitious goals in a long-term project commitment.

Your work:

• Design and implement extensible RESTful APIs that age well
• Convert business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Maintain high coding standards and practices
• Collaborate with the rest of the team in coordinated efforts
• Comply with the established architecture and development processes, but also help to improve them

We expect you to have:

• 2+ years of writing production-level backends using Django and DRF
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling and query optimization
• Experience in integrating with 3rd party APIs and services
• Good communication skills in English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Strong analytical skills and sense for project architecture and aesthetics
  

It would be nice if you are familiar with:

• Opensearch/Elasticsearch
• Linux administration
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
