    Role Overview:

    fadata as a Gartner magic quadrant leader is in an excellent position to further strengthen its cloud offerings. To that end, we have launched a project to transform our INSIS services to cloud native technologies. The senior technical architect will take the lead in transforming our services from an Oracle coupled monolith into Spring microservices. Analysis of the current software landscape is to be performed and mapped against our target architecture. To that end, he/she will be working closely together with our senior cloud architect.

    The technical architect is seasoned professional and senior enterprise software architect. He/she is pivotal in taking key decisions related to technical and conceptual problems and deficiencies throughout the software transformation journey. His/her main responsibility is to define, document and execute a software transformation strategy which will enable development teams. The output of this R&D work should be clearly described and approved application architecture and Microservices landscape supported by number of proofs of concept deliveries. Establishing clear development methodology which will enable development and scale the team at a later stage is a significant and expected deliverable.

    The successful candidate can demonstrate a track of complex transformation projects standing in a technical leadership role. He/she can lead a team of business and software architects towards the definition and documentation of the future system architecture. It has ample management experience in handling key stakeholders including C-Level team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Enables the creation of news services and the porting of existing services in time, quality, and budget.
    • Decides on implementation methodologies and patterns
    • Plans and oversees the transition from old to new
    • Defines and documents unified standards, guidelines, principles, and practices for the design of services
    • Works with business and implementation teams on reflecting the domain in the design (DDD)
    • Conducts research, creates proofs-of-concept, templates, and exemplars
    • Reviews and controls the implementation of architectural guidelines.
    • Creates technical documentation of architectural key decisions.
    • Accountable for the quality of technical solutions, both functional and non-functional as well as architectural enablement of team productivity.
    • Technical arbiter and final decision maker on design challenges.
    • Code-reviews the most technically complex system developments.
    • Provides technical guidance and support to technical leaders and developers involved in system development.
    • Assists with solving technically complex problems when they arise
    • Controls the synchronization between the development process and the system architecture.
    • Manages risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture
    • Demonstrates influence within own area of expertise.
    • Take a part in technical interviewing of job applicants.
    • Participate in customer forums and initiatives where needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Technical leadership experience with a demonstrable track record of solution designs
    • Track record in enterprise software transformation program/s.
    • Customer orientation paired with the ability to understand, prioritize, and implement strategic goals.
    • Proficiency in Java/Spring programming and Microservices concepts, domain driven design
    • A well-developed ability to technically lead people in a project setup to effectively achieve required solutions.
    • Strong problem analysis skills and a highly developed ability to understand complex software problems and facilitate the optimum solution.
    • Excellent communication, cooperation, and management skills. Ability to work with C level.
    • Deep knowledge of computer algorithms and system architecture.
    • Deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
    • Deep knowledge of technologies relevant to the performed work – Oracle Database, Microservices, API’s etc.
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills, delivering appropriate and timely advice to the product development teams.
    • An ability to work across the company and to play a significant part in leading development teams’ development.

    Advantages:
