    Job Description

    The person on this role will be responsible for the maintenance of applications which have been live in production. They will be managing both technical and functional defects, problems and changes.

    You are probably wondering what you will be doing:

    • Completely understanding end-to-end infrastructure and application ecosystem to help build tools that can aid day-to-day operations work as well as application ownership.
    • Demonstrating strong Customer service skills, support, and Incident management, while working to tight contractual SLAs.
    • Working with clients carrying out technical/functional elements and implementation, enhancement, bug fixing, and changes for Experian products.
    • Providing technical support for applications hosted both in the Experian Managed Service environments and those implemented at the client’s.
    • Investigation of production issues – working with Sr. Technical Analyst/ Technical Analysts to recreate problems and utilize trace files & error diagnostics utilities then identifying and implementing corrective/follow up actions.
    • Updating the Incident database to reflect the current position.
    • Providing technical analysis to customers and business teams regarding support incidents.


    We look for you to bring:

    • 3 years of relevant experience in the field of application support or on dev roles
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Experience with Windows and Linux Environments
    • Work expertise in Oracle/SQL Server RDBMS and ability to write codes in PL/SQL
    • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Good knowledge of Java, Groovy, PowerShell programming languages.
    • Knowledge of Webservices and App Servers (Apache Tomcat, WebSphere) is preferred.
    • Understanding of JSON, XML, WSDL, XSL, XSD is preferred.
    • Ability to work on production issues and problems and ensuring a quick and quality resolution.
    • Ability to work with the clients (IT and business teams) and to understand the requirements from a business perspective and design and build solution for them.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • High level of English
